Heart of Cartm (celebration) / McCoy Marsh project site (planting) · Wheeler · OR
Lower Nehalem Community Trust and Tillamook Estuaries Partnership are celebrating reconnecting the tide to McCoy Marsh, just north of Wheeler. At 3:00 PM the community plants the first willow stakes and does a celebratory seed toss at the McCoy Marsh project site. At 4:00 PM everyone moves to Heart of Cartm (395 Nehalem Blvd) for a restoration celebration and a talk from the project team. All are welcome; RSVP is requested. The pin marks Heart of Cartm. Get directions to the marsh site from the organizer's RSVP page.
